ZaiDoc™ AI has reached an important scientific milestone with the publication of a peer-reviewed clinical validation study evaluating the diagnostic performance of the ZaiDoc™ AI Digital Health Platform in real-world outpatient healthcare settings.

The study, titled “Clinical Validation of the ZaiDoc™ AI Digital Health Platform: Real-world Study,” has been published in the International Research Journal of Multidisciplinary Scope (IRJMS), Volume 7, Issue 3.

The research evaluated ZaiDoc™ in outpatient healthcare facilities in Nigeria, comparing platform-generated diagnostic suggestions with clinical reference standards.

The study was designed to assess the platform’s clinical validity and diagnostic performance in real-world healthcare environments.

93% Overall Diagnostic Accuracy.

The published results reported 93.0% overall diagnostic accuracy, alongside strong performance across key clinical validation metrics:

  • 96.30% specificity

  • 95.35% positive predictive value (PPV)

  • 91.23% negative predictive value (NPV)

  • 89.13% sensitivity

The study reported that ZaiDoc™ AI demonstrated strong diagnostic performance and highlighted its potential to support diagnostic decision-making in outpatient healthcare settings.

Researchers also reported positive user experience, with patients and clinicians describing the platform as well organized and easy to navigate. Clinicians noted that it required minimal training and could integrate into busy clinical workflows.

Advancing AI-Powered Healthcare Access

ZaiDoc™ AI is being developed as an AI-powered digital healthcare platform designed to expand access to healthcare and support more efficient clinical decision-making.

The publication represents another important step in ZaiDoc’s development, adding peer-reviewed clinical evidence to the platform’s existing technology and quality framework.

The authors concluded that the study provides preliminary evidence supporting ZaiDoc’s potential role in strengthening outpatient diagnostic services in Nigeria and similar low- and middle-income healthcare settings.

From Technology to Clinical Evidence

The publication follows ZaiDoc’s achievement of ISO 13485 quality-management certification and ISO/IEC 27001 information-security certification, reinforcing the company’s focus on quality, security and responsible development of AI-enabled healthcare technology.

As ZaiDoc AI continues its international development, the company is exploring deployment models with governments, healthcare organizations, insurers, pharmacy networks and telecommunications partners to make AI-enabled healthcare accessible at population scale.
